31 Weeks!
Less than 9 weeks to go!! Ahhhhhhhhhh!!! It's so crazy how unbelievably fast the days are flying by now. Our baby shower is in a few weeks and then Paisley will be here! Thank goodness her nursery is basically done. I walk past it everyday and look in there, just thinking to myself about how it'll be when my sweet peanut is actually in there. I'm thoroughly enjoying my pregnant thus far (minus the killer back pain). I just hope labor isn't TOO tough. Let's not think about it for now though!!!
30 Weeks!
Pajama party! I swear I could live in PJs. I always looked at pregnant woman who walked around in baggy clothing (most likely their husbands) and felt bad for them. I swore I would never be that person. The other day, I wore leggings and Garret's hoodie to the store. It's the only hoodie that fits me (update: Mom bought me a new LARGE hoodie...a hoodie for WOMEN...yay!) It was beyond embarrassing.
29 Weeks!
Still growing!! She is moving like crazy nowadays. Some nights, I just lay there while she flips around like a circus act. I can feel her on either side of my belly, which is insane. I love feeling her kick...I can sit there for hours and just watch my belly dance!!

Paisley's 4D Ultrasound
There is our little girl!!! We had a 4D ultrasound done today. I can't even being to describe how amazing it was to see her. I most definitely cried and didn't want it to end! We watched her touch her face, yawn, open her eyes and possibly even suck her thumb. She is so beautiful already... I can't imagine how I will feel when I actually get to hold her. Thank you to everyone who came to our ultrasound today. We greatly appreciate it!!
*Mommy and Daddy love you so much already, Paisley!*
Florida Family
A few weeks ago, my dad had a convention in Orlando, Florida and he was gracious enough to let me tag along. We stayed near my grandparents, which was nice because it allowed us to spend plenty of time with them. My Aunt Sarah was also able to hang out with me a lot... I SO appreciated it! I really miss all of my Florida family. It's tough to not be able to get in a car and drive to them. I am glad I got to see most everybody during our trip....the next time we are in Florida, we will have Paisley with us!!
<3 Thank you daddy for the trip! I love you :)

28 Weeks!
Baby belly at 28 weeks! I am feeling pretty big right now... it's getting harder to find tops that fit over my belly and the only comfy pants are leggings, yoga pants or my maternity jeans! Is it OK to wear pajamas to the grocery store?
27 Weeks!
Hello belly! Here is a belly shot at 27 weeks. My dad and I were in Florida, visiting family. You know you have a close relationship with your dad when you can say "Hey dad...take a picture of my belly."

11-10-11
On November 10, 2011, Amber and Greg got married! Greg is Garret's brother and him and Amber have two beautiful kids together. Now she is officially my sister in law. Congratulations to the happy couple!
26 Weeks!
BAM! It's getting bigger, ya'll! And I know what you are thinking...you are wondering where I got those sweet pajamas from. Victoria's Secret! Very comfy but not too flattering in pictures. After Garret took this photo, he looked back at it and said "Whoa!" Not exactly what a woman wants to hear while showing off her stomach. LOL.
25 Weeks
YIKES! Garret and I slacked BIG TIME. We completely forgot to take belly pictures for weeks 23 and 24. I am so upset! Anyway...here is the baby belly at 25 weeks. See those jeans? Those are my new "skinny" maternity jeans. Sexy, right?! Hehe. Definitely not but they are super comfy and my favorite pair of pants. Thanks mom! :)
Paisley's Nursery...again!
The art work and painting in the nursery is complete!!! My dad did three beautiful murals for Paisley. He spent many weekend days over at our house...we are so thankful and appreciative!! Thank you GranDan! We love you so much and Paisley is going to absolutely adore her room!
Here is one of the murals... "The cow jumping over the moon." We liked her better with eyelashes :)
Here is Princess Paisley's castle!! For my birthday, Garret gave me a necklace from Tiffany's...it's a pendant with a beautiful cursive "P" engraved on it. My dad added the same "P" to one of the castle flags!

Here is my Little Bo Peep and one of her missing sheep! My dad painted her face to resemble mine.
I am so in love with Paisley's nursery. I sit in her room almost every day. I took a few books home from my parents (that used to be mine when I was little) so that I could read to her. It's crazy to think she will be in here in about 3 months!!!

Paisley at 23 Weeks!
Our baby girl at 23 weeks! Look at that cute button nose! She loves to lay with her legs over her head. She would yawn, stretch and then go right back to that position. I bet she will be flexible!!!
Check out those lips! My friend Kristen called her Angelina Jolie. The ultrasound tech said she has my lips and my nose. I can't wait to meet her and see for myself!!!

22 Weeks!
Ahhh!! The belly REALLY grew this past week! Excuse my black underwear poking out... :)
I have definitely noticed a growth spurt recently. A lot of my shirts do not cover up the bottom of my stomach now. It's a perfect size right now...wish it would stay this way and not get any bigger!!

Paisley's Nursery!
Great news! Project Paisley's nursery has been started! My parents came over this past weekend and my dad & Garret started painting. They did a light pink on the bottom half of the room, a yellow whimsical border and a blue wall/ceiling. My dad is coming back to paint clouds on the ceiling and to do a few murals on the walls. I am so excited! I love walking into her nursery and just looking around. I can't wait for the painting to be done so I can start decorating/setting up her nursery!!! Here are a few pictures of the progress.
We are also taking down that brown fan and putting up a smaller white fan, so it matches better!! More pictures to come!!!

Paisley at 18 Weeks
At our last doctor's appointment, we had an ultrasound and were able to see her so clearly! Here is a side profile shot. I love that her little arm is up, almost as if she is waving at her mommy and daddy :)
My dad thinks she resembles me already. I can't quite tell. LOL. Can't wait to see her again!!!

Half Way There Treats!
As I previously stated in my post below, one of my apps said I was half way through my pregnancy today. My friend, Tina, was looking at the app this past Sunday and made a mental note that today was that day. She showed up at my house this afternoon with two huge boxes of chocolate deliciousness! A variety of chocolate covered strawberries, apples and oranges...oh my! I was so shocked that she remembered and that she went out of her way to do this for me. Thank you Tina and Vanessa! You guys are great friends and I'm lucky to be able to call you my friends. <3
19 Weeks!
Although I do not like this picture, here is the belly at 19 weeks! It's funny how my belly looks bigger one week and smaller the next...this week it looks huge! I need to have Garret take these pictures right when I wake up, not after a big breakfast! Hehe!
This week has been a great pregnancy week! According to "What to Expect", I am half way through my pregnancy today (Thursday)! Another book says this Sunday will be halfway, but either way...this week marks the half way point! Also, I was laying on the couch at my mom's on Tuesday and all of a sudden, I felt a KICK! Of course it wasn't too hard, since she is still so small. But it was most definitely a kick. After that, I started feeling her move around more. Now, I feel her moving everyday, randomly. It's the most amazing feeling ever! Garret is pretty jealous that he can't feel her yet...but he should be able to soon. :)
Also, we are going to start on her nursery in the next few weeks!! Our parents helped us buy a BEAUTIFUL crib (that we picked up yesterday). I can't wait to see the finished product. Once the work is being started, I will post progress pictures on here. Look out for them!!

18 Weeks!
18 weeks pregnant now! We just had an ultrasound and the doctor said she is perfect. :)
Her heartbeat is perfect and so is the placement of my uterus. Woo hoo! LOL. During the ultrasound, we got to see her mouth and eyes, her feet, butt and her whole body laying on her back. She was moving her hand back and forth, almost as if she was waving. We also watched her heartbeat. It was so amazing seeing her! I can't wait for the next ultrasound!

17 Weeks!
17 weeks pregnant now! We have another ultrasound on Tuesday. We're so excited! She is as big as a sweet potato right now. Hopefully we get a good look at her. Also, the ultrasound tech will confirm the sex. I hope she's still a girl, otherwise I have a lot of returning to do!

16 Weeks!
16 weeks and growing!! According to "What to Expect When You're Expecting", Paisley is the size of a turnip and she weighs about 6 oz. It's now extremely difficult to button any pants I own so I have to use the belly band A LOT!!!!

15 Weeks!
We are now 15 weeks! It's hard to tell in the pictures, but we can really see the baby bump now. It's rounding out and I think I actually look pregnant now, instead of just chubby!!
This past weekend, I went to my mom and dad's and we shopped like crazy! They pretty much bought out Carter's! Paisley has so many clothes....now I just need the nursery to be done so I can start putting everything away!!!

14 Weeks!
Check out that belly! We can really see our baby bump now!!! I am now 14 weeks pregnant. We had a doctor's appointment yesterday and he listened to her heartbeat and said it sounded perfect. The nurse also said I haven't gained any weight since 4 weeks ago! Woo hoo! I know I'll gain a mess of weight in the upcoming months so it's nice to know I'm not gaining too much too soon.
Since we now know we're having a girl, I can't stop thinking about what I want her nursery to look like. I also am tempted to get in the car and go shopping every day! I really want to focus on her nursery before I start buying too many clothes.... I think I have the theme I want in mind. I hope my dad makes time to come over and paint!!!

It's a GIRL!!!
We are having a little girl!!! We went to the 4D ultrasound yesterday, which was incredible! My parents, sister, best friend and in-laws were in the room with us as well. It was so amazing to see the baby now...we have only had one ultrasound thus far and the baby was a tiny little bean at the time. Now, we can see legs and arms!!! Her little feet were crossed so we couldn't see her "privates". The technician wiggled her around until we finally saw a "V". She told us it's definitely a girl!
We are all so excited...we went shopping immediately afterwards! My parents bought me a designer diaper bag as an early birthday present and we all bought the baby a few outfits. It's still surreal that we actually know the sex.... Now I can get started on her nursery!!!
We can't wait to meet our daughter, Paisley Lynne Claborn!

13 Weeks!
I am now 13 weeks along! I can actually see a little baby bump!!! It's so exciting watching my belly grow. With one exception....
The other day, I was slathering on Palmer's lotion and all of a sudden, I noticed IT. My BELLY BUTTON. I've always had this little slit of a belly button. I have pretty much never seen the inside of it and it's always been one of my favorite body parts. My tiny, little slit of a belly button is now a giant crater!!! I can literally put two fingers in it AND I can see the inside of it! It's HUGE! People have warned me about all sorts of pregnancy things but somehow, everyone forgot to mention the belly button!!!!!!!!
If it expands any more, I will start selling tickets to view it.

Lake Mohave/Laughlin Trip
This past Thursday, we headed to Laughlin with Garret's brother, Nelson, and his wife Vicki. Nelson's best friend, Bryan (Coot) was getting married there. We had such a great trip! I was hesitant to go due to the pregnancy but I'm glad I did. We needed a little vacation.
On Friday, we went to Lake Mohave. They had 2 boats so we all piled in and headed to a remote little beach where we camped out all day. The water was PERFECT! It was blazing outside...about 110 degrees so it was nice to swim all day.
The next day, Bryan and his now wife, Dorianne, were married on a cute river boat. She is pregnant as well so it was nice to have another preggo running around with us. Overall, it was a really fun trip!!

Our Nieces' 6th Birthday
This past Thursday was our niece's 6th birthday. Their mom (Vicki), myself, their Auntie Nanie and Auntie Tasha took them to this place their cousin works at called Sharky's. It's a little salon for kids. It was SO cute. They did the girl's hair, makeup and nails. Afterwards, they put boas on and posed for a quick photo session.
After getting dolled up, we went to Red Robin for lunch. They were so glamorous that everyone was staring at them and they felt like little movie stars. I know they had a great day and I am so glad I got to go with them and watch them get "diva makeovers".
*We love you, Madison and Kaitlyn!*

12 Weeks!
I'm now 12 weeks pregnant and starting the 2nd trimester. The baby is a little over 3 inches and weighs about 1oz. In my pregnancy journal, it says the baby can open and close it's eyes and mouth and that if I push on my belly, it moves in response. Of course, I can't feel any of this yet but I should be able to in about 2 months. Crazy!!!
Our 4D ultrasound is coming up and we are on the edge of our seat, wondering what the sex is! I still haven't had any morning sickness and since I'm in the 2nd trimester now, I'm pretty sure I won't start getting it now.
I can see a little belly now. It's really hard and my pants are tight now! Guess I need to get some maternity jeans soon...

First "Mom" Item!
So...my good friend Kristen works in downtown LA in the fashion district. She's a mom (she has a beautiful little girl named Madison) and she works in a showroom down there. She had the cutest necklace on the other day when we went to dinner. It was small and dainty and I couldn't take my eyes off it! I asked her where she got it from and she said another showroom in her building. I asked her to get one for me (I'm such a copy cat) because I loved it so much. I just met up with her for a quick chat, a Shave It and to get my necklace from her!
It says "love mom" on it. It's beyond adorable!
Thanks Kristen!!! I love it and YOU so much!

11 Weeks!
I'm 11 weeks pregnant now! The days were going by so slowly back at 6 and 7 weeks....but now they are flying by! I can actually see the difference in my belly now. As exciting as it is to watch my belly grow, it's also depressing to think of how much weight I will have to drop AFTER that baby! Haha!
This upcoming week is SUPER busy. We are going to Laughlin this weekend for some fun and a wedding so there is lots to do before then. I'll make sure post pictures of the trip!

Boy or Girl?
Exciting news!!! We have made an appointment to do a 4D gender session on August 14th. The technician will be able to tell us if it's a boy or girl! The suspense is killing me...and everyone else! I know my mom is dying to shop already! I can't wait to find out...this way I can start planning the nursery....shower....anddddd I'll probably be shopping too. :)
The second we find out the sex, I will let everyone know! Everyone keeps guessing and the guesses are actually pretty even. I have no idea what the sex is. I just want a healthy baby!

Grill 'Em All...More like "I ate it all!"
There was a show on the Food Network awhile back called "The Great Food Truck Race." The winner of the show was a truck called "Grill 'Em All". Ever since seeing their delicious, juicy burgers on TV, I have wanted to try this truck. The other day, our friend told us the truck would be at a food truck event a few miles away from us! We arrived there tonight at 5:30pm and there was already a line. After drooling over the menu while I waited, I finally decided on my burger of choice. The Behemoth. (DUN DUN DUNNNNNN).
The name was intimidating... and it was just as intimidating to look at! Two grilled cheeses held together this burger...topped with cheese, bacon, beer soaked onions, BBQ sauce and pickles. Holy heart attack! I felt like being wheeled back to the car after eating MOST of the burger. And let me just say this.... it was DELICIOUS. I cannot wait to go back to the Grill 'Em All truck to try a different burger! Next time, I think I'll skip the grilled cheese buns....
Now I'm off....gotta slip into a food coma. :)
